Watch M.I., Blaqbonez, A-Q & Loose Kanyon Dominate Their Second Cypher
Blaqbonez & M.I. steal the show!
Earlier in the year, M.I and his merry band of controversial rappers — who go by the collective name, L.A.M.B. — got together for a solid rap cypher. Now, following rap beefs and diss tracks, the L.A.M.B crew are back with a second cypher, marking yet another effort to silence their critics.
Coming up first on the roster, Blaqbonez, who recently dubbed himself the "Best Rapper in Africa", uses his lengthy freestyle to reaffirm that he really is one of the strongest Nigerian rappers spitting today, calling out his opponents for even trying to compare themselves to him.
The quietest member of the group, Loose Kanyon follows Blaqbonez, mocking their competitors and the streets for simply criticising L.A.M.B. "for free". A-Q takes over from Loose, talking us through his music-making process over the tough Beats by Jay-produced beat.
Smooth as ever, the leader of the talented crew, M.I. signs out the cypher, confident that he is the number one rapper in Africa, leaving the rest of the list open to debate. His closing remarks take a more solemn turn, as he pays his respects to the late great MC, B-Elect.
