Listen To Kizz Daniel’s Aptly Titled Sophomore Album, ‘No Bad Songz’

Since Kizz Daniel announced his sophomore LP, we have been rather eager to test whether or not the confidently titled No Bad Songz would live up to its name. Well, now it's been released, and the project's title proved to be rather prophetic, as there is not one song we'd opt to skip.

After the whole tracklist debacle, we must admit we became even more excited for the project. While it lost a few exciting features — namely Simi and Major Lazer — it also gained some heavyweight stars, including Davido, Sarkodie, Nasty C and Wretch32.

First up of these anticipated features is the Wretch32-assisted "Bad". The first thing we noticed about the track is the insane production, credited to Major Bangz. We were particularly curious as to how both artists would gel, but we clearly had nothing to worry about

As usual, Nasty C kills his feature on "Ghetto", proving to be an excellent addition. Their synergy on the track is undeniable, as their voices move between each other in a smooth and effortless way. The same can be said for "Kojo", the calm bop assisted by the fantastic Sarkodie.

From start to finish, No Bad Songz is littered with impressive, highly infectious tracks that would make easy hits if released as singles. Not that we had any doubts, but this project proves, yet again, that Kizz Daniel is one of the best afropop stars working today.
