Watch Viola Davis & Cynthia Erivo Kick Ass And Take Names In The Trailer For 'Widows'

First Viola Davis learnt How To Get Away With Murder, now it looks like she'll be getting away with robbery too! One of the greatest actresses of our generation is joining a stellar cast including Michelle Rodriguez, Liam Neeson, the very blessed Cynthia Erivo and others in a new crime heist movie from Steve Mcqueen (12 Years A Slave).

Widows, a remake of the 1983 British miniseries of the same name, stars Viola Davis as Veronica Rawlins who leads a group of three other women after their husbands die in a failed robbery attempt. The widows are determined to successfully complete the heist because as Viola's character says, "no one thinks we have the balls to pull this off."

The exhilarating trailer which dropped yesterday shows Viola and co in top form, guns blazing and muscles popping! What is really exciting about this movie, other than its impressive cast, is the diversity of its actors - two black women leads, a latina and a white woman (played by Elizabeth Debicki). Given the names attached to this project, including the writer of the critically acclaimed Gone Girl, we are sure this movie will be a raging success critically and commercially.

Watch the badass trailer below and be sure to catch the movie in cinemas from November 16, 2018. Also spot our faves, Daniel Kaluuya and Brian Tyree Henry as the ominous debt collectors!
