MGMT marque son retour avec le titre envoûtant “In the Afternoon”

Le groupe de rock MGMT est enfin de retour avec une nouvelle chanson intitulée “In the Afternoon” qui marque son grand retour, après le dernier album Little Dark Age sorti le 9 février 2018.

Le duo originaire de Brooklyn, composé de Andrew VanWyngarden et de Ben Goldwasser, partage son nouveau titre envoûtant intitulé “In the Afternoon” avec des tonalités pop psychédéliques, accompagné d’un clip vidéo. Mais c’est également son premier retour indépendant, puisque c’est la première sortie du groupe sur son propre label MGMT Records, récemment formé (anciennement chez Columbia Records), comme le souligne Pitchfork.

Ce nouveau titre apparaîtra sur un prochain single de douze pouces en édition limitée prévu pour mars 2020, et disponible dès aujourd’hui en précommande, uniquement sur la boutique en ligne de MGMT.

Attention : le groupe prévient sur son compte Instagram les âmes sensibles, en ajoutant “Veuillez consommer avec prudence”, car il se pourrait bien que ce nouveau single puisse déclencher de très fortes émotions.
