Pendant ce temps au Panama, 500 fêtards sont coincés à un festival de psytrance

Le coronavirus commence à avoir des répercussions un peu partout aux quatre coins du monde, laissant certains vacanciers dans des situations délicates. C’est le cas notamment de 300 à 500 participants au festival Tribal Gathering qui se tient au Panama, qui seraient actuellement tenus en quarantaine sur le site de l’événement si l’on en croit nos confrères de Trax Magazine.

Sur Instagram, les organisateurs ont fait savoir que “le gouvernement et les responsables de santé ont décidé de revenir au mandat initial stipulant que tous les ressortissants étrangers entrés au Panama il y a plus de quatorze jours peuvent quitter le lieu”.

TO ALL ATTENDEES AND FOLLOWERS OF TRIBAL GATHERING: Update!!!! The government and health officials have now decided to go back to the original mandate of allowing all nationals who have entered Panama over 14 days ago to exit the location. Those who have not must remain here in quarantine on site until they reach the 14 day period which could mean people actually staying here longer than the 23rd. In the wake of the President of Panama declaring a national emergency due to COVID-19/novel coronavirus, Panama’s Minister of Health has taken the extraordinary step of ordering all Tribal Gathering guests currently on site to remain in place until March 23. However, this was NOT in response to a positive COVID-19 test. There have been ZERO cases of COVID-19 confirmed on site, nor are any suspected at this time. Nevertheless, we are complying with all orders and recommendations of the Minister of Health, as the health and safety of our guests and crew remains our top priority. We also continue to work with the embassies of our guests from outside Panama to secure their assistance and support. Or, le festival se tenait du 29 février au 15 mars et tous ne sont pas arrivés dès le début de l’événement. Si de nombreux festivaliers ont pu rentrer chez eux, d’autres doivent attendre d’avoir bien respecté la période de quatorze jours avant d’espérer repartir.

D’autant plus qu’il faut maintenant pouvoir rentrer dans son pays, et les trajets peuvent être particulièrement compliqués en raison de la pandémie de coronavirus qui sévit actuellement. Les organisateurs ont donc logiquement conseillé aux participants de “contacter l’ambassade de leur pays pour plus d’informations”. Aucun cas de la maladie n’a en tout cas été détecté au sein de l’événement.
