Mini Cooper New Zealand, la Society for the prevention of cruelty to animals (ou SPA néozélandaise) et les ingénieurs de IKON se sont associé afin d’apprendre à trois chiens abandonnés à conduire ! Le but étant de montrer qu’un animal abandonné n’est pas forcément inutile et augmenter le nombre d’adoptions dans le pays à la fougère.
Les trois chiens : Porter, Monty et Ginny vont apprendre à conduire sur une version modifiée de la Mini “Countryman” avec des pédales et un volant spécial pendant plusieurs semaines. Une initiative hallucinante et bien pensée expliquée par Christine Kalin, présidente de l’association néozélandaise :
