In Cameroon, A Female Football Player Opened The First Soccer Academy For Girls
A beautiful initiative.
As a star of the Cameroon team, Gaëlle Enganamouit is famous in the women soccer world. On January 4, she officially launched the Rails Football Academy, the first soccer school for girls in the country.

Translation: It’s an emotional day with my young sisters with the launch of the Rails Football Academy. Live your dream #ChildrenOfTheFails
Although she is very proud, Gaëlle Enganamouit hopes it is just the begin of her project, as she told the BBC:
"I will give everything to train my younger sisters and to help them grow. That is why with the opportunity I have today, I have decided to help others. We are starting in Yaoundé, but we are calling on the players from the other regions to be patient for the academy will in future include you."
For now, 18 players will be recruited in the country’s capital to play in different categories according to their age (U8, U13, and U17). A beautiful initiative we hope to see grow in the future.
