Twitter Employee Deactivated Trump's Account On Last Day At Work

Last night, one Twitter employee decided to go seriously YOLO on their last day of work. Using their powers for the greater good for one last hurrah, the unnamed hero deactivated the POTUS's Twitter account granting the world eleven blissful minutes of virtual silence.

Anyone who happened to visit Trump's page during this time were greeted by the wishful words, "@realDonaldTrump does not exist."

In a highly unusual turn of events, Trump did not react to his brief time-out, instead going on to tweet his usual nonsense like nothing ever happened.

Twitter did speak out about the incident with a statement first stating that the deactivation must have been due to human error. Soon enough, however, the social media platform withdrew its initial statement, admitting that the Trump takedown was no mistake:

Since joining the social network, Trump has tweeted no fewer than 36,000 times, using it as his preferred form of communication.

A couple of weeks ago, he even claimed that Twitter was the key to his presidential win, stating: "I doubt I would be here if it weren't for social media, to be honest with you."

Of course, the rest of the internet was quick to react with the anonymous former employee being hailed as a modern superhero.
