How Olenna Tyrell Became One Of Game of Thrones' Best Memes

The seventh season of Game of Thrones was rich in explosions and battles worthy of action blockbusters, but it also gave us some deep and subtle moments, with amongst them Olenna Tyrell’s exit.

In the third episode, Jaime and his army travel to snatch the Tyrell’s gold and kill Olenna. After having taken Jaime’s poison, the Queen of the Thorns confesses to him that it was she who had Joffrey killed.

She also serves some final sass before dying: "Tell Cersei, I want her to know it was me." Fans loved this and went crazy on social networks, giving a hilarious slant to the quote using their pets, (mostly their cats).

The seventh season of Game of Thrones left a deep impact on fans with moments like these. We're sure that, in the two years that separate us from the final season, fans will find loads of ways to carry on paying homage to one of the best-loved series of all times.
