Here's something that'll delight Harry Potter fans: the soundtracks for the five first movies will soon be available... in vinyl format.

That's the OST from Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) brought together in one collector box set, coming out on November 17.

The soundtracks for the first three films were written by John Williams (Steven Spielberg's "official" composer, who also scored classics like Jaws and Jurassic Park) Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper did the last two.

Also featured will be the three songs, written by Jarvis Cocker and performed by The Weird Sisters: "Do the hippogriff", "This is the night" and "Magic works". The most famous band in the wizarding universe is played on-screen by Cocker (Pulp), alongside Jonny Greenwood and Phil Selway from Radiohead.

Rhino announced that this vinyl box set will be available from November 17, and we can just see it all warm and cosy wrapped up under our Christmas tree.
