Watch Letitia Wright Break Down The Technology In 'Black Panther'
While there are a ton of things to love about Marvel's record-shattering hit, Black Panther — from its thoughtful story to its incredible fashion — the best thing about the film is undoubtedly the incredible characters at its centre.
Black Panther not only gave the Marvel Cinematic Universe its most nuanced and sympathetic villain to date, it also managed to deliver the coolest Disney princess of all time: Shuri (played by the incredible Letitia Wright).
As T'Challa's 16-year-old sister, Shuri isn't only responsible for making her stoic big brother laugh so soon after the tragic death of their father, she's also the tech-savvy force behind every mind-blowing Wakandan gadget.
In a recently released video with Vanity Fair, Wright broke down some of the badass inventions we got to see in the film, like Black Panther's suit, Shuri's gauntlets, the magnetic levitation trains, the Wakanda cloak and the EMP discs.
Speaking about her favourite piece of tech from the movie, Wright said:
"I think my favourite piece is definitely the Kimoyo beads. It's just accessible to everybody, and you can project the information stored on it onto like the wall."
