The studio has announced a new feature film for 2020, and we're really happy about that despite the lack of any further information for now.

While we wait impatiently for the release of Toy Story 4, Pixar has just revealed one of its upcoming feature-length films. Actually, 'reveal' is a bit of an exaggeration because we don't know anything much about the project, but whatever: here comes Onward.

Scheduled for release on March 6 2020 in the United States, the movie will be directed by Dan Scanlon (Monsters University) and the characters will be dubbed by Chris Pratt, Tom Holland, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Octavia Spencer.

The fantasy tale (reports say it'll be set in a world inhabited by orcs, dragons and other mystical creatures) is inspired by a story linked to the director's own life. It will follow two young elf brothers (dubbed by Pratt and Holland), who set off "on a quest to discover if there is still magic left in the world".

Onward will be released in theaters in March 2020.
