The sad truth is, we were expecting it: despite a certain blandness, Bohemian Rhapsody is a hit. Making great scores on its opening weekend, the movie has now broken a record after a few weeks in the theaters.

According to DeadlineBohemian Rhapsody has shot past 600 million dollars at the global box office, making 175 million dollars in North America and 433 million at the international box office for a global cume of 608.7 million dollars, thus becoming the highest-grossing music biopic of all time in the United States and worldwide.

At a time when Marvel’s blockbusters are generating billions, it can seem like not much. But to give you an idea, by exceeding 400 millions dollars in the rest of the world, Bohemian Rhapsody is surpassing Deadpool 2, which shows how much of a achievement that is.
