Billie Eilish Impresses With "No Time To Die", The Theme Song Of The New James Bond Movie
The young American singer, who recently won a Grammy Award, has unveiled her song for the next adventures of 007.
Following in the footsteps of Adele with Skyfall or Sam Smith with Spectre, it was Billie Eilish's turn to write the song for the next James Bond movie. And the young American artist went all in. She has just unveiled the song in question, "No Time To Die", on the night of February 13 to 14, 2020.
The beautiful new tracks definitely respect the tradition of songs dedicated to the adventures of Agent 007. But the talented singer, who has just marked the history of the Grammy Awards with her imprint, still manages to bring her touch, especially with all the sensitivity that characterizes her. At barely 18 years old, the artist wrote this song with her long-time collaborator, her brother Finneas O'Connell. Billie Eilish will perform the world premiere of "No Time To Die" at the Brit Awards Ceremony next Tuesday in London, as she indicated on her Facebook page.
We can't help but underline the irony of this release. Billie Eilish likes to stand out, and she proves it once again since this track, as beautiful as it is, doesn't necessarily turn out to be very joyful. What better, then, than to release it on Valentine's Day?
Nevertheless, with this theme of the next James Bond, Billie Eilish joins a prestigious list of artists, among which Madonna or Paul McCartney. The 25th installment of the saga is scheduled for next April. It will be the fifth - and potentially the last - time that Daniel Craig, 51, will play the famous Agent 007. The "villain" of the story will be played by Rami Malek.
