Bao is a short film which only a handful of cinemagoers got the chance to see on the big screen during the summer of 2018. But it's now available online, for free, for anyone to watch. This eight-minute animated film, made by animator Domee Shi, tells the story of a Chinese-American woman who sees one of her baos – a traditional Chinese steamed bun – come to life, before taking care of it as if it were her child. Enjoy!
