A Crazy New Trailer For 'Birds Of Prey' Has Now Been Released
We absolutely can't wait to see the full movie.
To keep us happy until February 19, Warner is continuing to tease its latest project, Birds of Prey, the long-awaited spin-off about Harley Quinn, and has just released a new trailer.
It shows Harley Quinn, visibly affected by her break up with "Mister J", aka the Joker, and her four acolytes on a quest for emancipation. Although this latest trailer isn't hugely different from the first, it does reveal a little more about the reasons behind the alliance between Harley Quinn, Black Canary, Huntress and Batgirl and the real story behind the murderous quest that unites them.
We're learning more and more about the movie with each new trailer, but the plot remains enigmatic. Described as violent and irreverent, Birds of Prey picked up an R-Rated classification for its sexual imagery, drugs and crude language, although the trailer seems to have spared us all of that for now.
We also catch a glimpse of Ewan McGregor, the Black Mask, who wants to see the back of the quartet and is after Harley Quinn's hyena, Bruce, who got his name because of "that hunky Wayne guy".
