Sheriff Warns People Not To Shoot At Hurricane Irma Because 'Bullets Come Back'

On Sunday, September 10, the Pasco, Florida county sheriff posted the following, hilarious message on Twitter.

The tweet is in response to a Facebook event called "Shoot at Hurricane Irma," created as a joke to lighten the mood after Irma ravaged the Caribbean and began heading for south Florida this weekend. The event description says:

"YO SO THIS GOOFY LOOKING WINDY HEADASS NAMED IRMA SAID THEY PULLING UP ON US, LETS SHOW IRMA THAT WE SHOOT FIRST ."

Based on the tone, it seems obvious this was a joke, but it got 85,000 people interested in attending nonetheless.

So, to be safe, Pasco county thought they'd better remind local citizens to absolutely not shoot at the hurricane under any circumstances, because "bullets come back," as you can see in the handy diagram above.
