One million tiny plastic bricks are making their way to London for one noble purpose: to build a bar out of Lego. According to The Independent the pop-up bar should open around spring and will be decorated from floor to ceiling using everyone's favorite building blocks.
While impressive Lego sculptures will already adorn the bar, customers will also be given the chance to impress their friends with their own creations while a local DJ provides the adult playground with sweet tunes.
"How long has it been since you pulled out your old Lego sets, rounded up your friends and sat around creating and crafting castles, ships and whatever else you can imagine?", the bar's website asks. Too long, is the obvious response from big kids everywhere.
This isn't the first time that Lego has provided inspiration for drinking holes with similar ventures popping up in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Montréal, Calgary, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. The children's toy company has, however, made it clear that it has no involvement in the bar business.
Tickets will soon go on sale but if you happen to be in the UK capital around springtime, you'd better act fast. The bar creators have warned anyone interested in the venue to register for ticket alerts in order to avoid disappointment.
