Jars Of 'Weed' Were Hidden Around Paris For A 4/20 Treasure Hunt

On April 20, cannabis lovers the world over lit up in unison to celebrate International Weed Day. As 4:20 PM struck, marijuana aficionados took to country-wide pro-weed rallies to show their appreciation for the green stuff.

Meanwhile, across the pond, the French decided to do things a bit differently. Hitting the streets of Paris, French clothes brand Tealer set out to organize a treasure hunt like no other.

In addition to covering various billboards, shop fronts and metro station walls with cannabis wallpaper, there were exciting treats waiting to be discovered throughout the capital.

Hidden in little boxes across the city were glass jars full of "marijuana." Marked with "Break Glass in Case of Emergency" signs, the red Kush boxes actually contained (quite convincing) cannabis-shaped chocolates.

All part of a big marketing campaign, Tealer also offered massive discounts on its ganja-inspired products throughout the day. Still, that's the kind of Easter egg hunt we can get on board with.
