To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of Curtis Hanson's 8 Mile, Eminem is teaming up with Carhartt for a special limited edition collection. A short clip teasing the line has been released but it doesn't give an awful lot away.
For the moment, we're not sure exactly when the capsule line is set to drop nor how many pieces it will be offering. We do know, however, that it'll be going on sale around the end of November and will be sold exclusively at the site Shady Records and Carhartt's outlet in Detroit, where the brand was founded in 1889.
Given that it's also the city where Eminem grew up and kicked off his musical career, we'd say it's a pretty fitting choice. All proceeds from the collection will go towards the Marshall Mathers Foundation, which provides funds to organizations working with at-risk youth in Michigan and throughout the U.S.
The iconic rapper has also teased a little sneak peek of the range with a photo posted to his Instagram account. In it, we see a beanie embroidered with the "8 Mile" logo and a dark t-shirt with a mysterious emblem on the side. Keep your eyes peeled for more clues no doubt coming soon.
