Chance The Rapper hits the kitchen for charity! For one day only, the Chicago rapper will be donning an apron and grilling some peri-peri chicken wings at Nando's newest location to raise money for his nonprofit organization Social Works.
The event, which is scheduled to take place on September 5, is yet another paragraph in Chance's long list of charitable donations. A couple of months ago, the rapper donated $1 million to Chicago public schools, as well as distributed 30,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to local students.
Through his partnership with Nandos, the artist hopes to raise even more money for Chicago schools. "We can’t think of a better ambassador to help Nando’s celebrate the Grand Opening of our flagship Chicago location, and to help support public education in a city we love," Sepanta Bagherpour, Nando's USA VP of marketing, told DNAInfo.
