It almost goes without saying that with every season of a hit show, comes a brand new line of Funko Pop figurines. With the second season of Stranger Things now on Netflix, the Hawkins gang are getting for their third round of Funko treatment.
Currently still in production, the new range is full of references to the second chapter, and includes Mike, Dustin, Lucas and Will in their Ghostbusters costumes for the episode "Trick or treat, freak." New addition Max boasts two dolls, one Halloween version and one with her trademark skateboard in hand.
In much better shape mentally this season, Joyce is kitted out in her usual garb, i.e. her work uniform, and she's not even crying. Eleven is obviously back too, sporting her new haircut and standard lumberjack get-up.
The show's secondary characters have, however, been kind of snubbed. There's no sign of mind-bending punk Kali or Max's rocker brother Billy.
Even Hawkins' new fave Bob Newby doesn't have a doll-shaped homage. Here's hoping the selection for season three – which is, by the way, already underway – will include even more characters.
