Warning: This post contains spoilers for season two.
After months of hype, Stranger Things was released on Netflix and many of us spent the weekend trying our best not to binge watch it all in one session.
No matter how far you are in the second series, one new character has made an impact among fans. Yep, Bob 'the Brain' Newby has been likened just like how Barb became a cult favorite last season despite only appearing in a handful of episodes.
Bob, played by Goonies and Lord of the Rings icon, Sean Astin is sweet natured and has all of Barb's nerdy qualities that we never got to fully enjoy due to her swift demise.
While people are making their way through the latest series, all the feelings surrounding Bob and his relationship with the Byers family are being shared over social media. At first, people seem pretty suspicious of him, and his conveniently timed relationship with Joyce not long after Will's rescue from the Upside Down.
Despite this, people have grown to love Bob and they can't help but fear for him as they make their way further through the series.
