Sense8 fans are still in mourning following Netflix's shock cancellation a few months ago. Promoting diversity and tolerance, the cult show's abrupt departure left fans heartbroken and looking for answers.
But shortly after the announcement, it was revealed that the series' creators were set to return with a two-hour finale to give the Sensates the closure they deserve (just not on Netflix).
Today, we've got some good news to report as it looks like the screenwriters have just finished work on the episode in question. It was Miguel Ángel Silvestre, alias Lito, who dropped the news, posting a picture of the script to Instagram.
Unveiling a couple of interesting details, the photo reveals that the narrative was dreamed up by Lana Wachowski, alongside Cloud Atlas author David Mitchell – the book that was adapted into a film by Lilly Wachowski – and Aleksandar Hemon, a Bosnian-born American fiction writer best known for his novel Nowhere Man.
Dropping a few clues about the destination of the new journey, the script is also stamped with the words "Berlin, Bruselas, Paris, Napoles."
While nothing has been confirmed for the moment, we're guessing this means filming is set to take place in Berlin, Brussels, Paris and Naples, so if you find yourself in any of these major European cities over the next few months, keep your eyes open.
The finale special hasn't been given an official release date yet but it is expected to drop at some point in 2018. You can re-watch the first two seasons of Sense8 right now on Netflix.
