'Rick And Morty' Returns With Mr Poopybutthole Thanksgiving Special

Fans everywhere have been suffering a major post-Ricky and Morty slump following the end of season three and, worst of all, we've still got ages to wait until the new season drops. But luckily, the folks at Adult Swim aren't monsters.

As a special Thanksgiving offering, the team behind the show have released a new short clip, entitled The Poop in My Pants, exploring the backstory of a much-loved secondary character.

In an obvious parody of the beginning of Pixar movie Up, we see an elderly Mr. Poopybutthole settled on an armchair flipping through a photo album of his life. Accompanied by sentimental music (and zero dialogue), we're invited on an emotional rollercoaster which sees the sidekick couple up, adopt a few pets, get married and have a baby.

But take a closer look at the backgrounds of the snaps and you'll catch a summary of the biggest events to hit Rick and Morty so far.

We'll leave you to lap up the reference-filled clip in the hope that it'll tide you over until season four, expected in "a really long time."
