If we had to make a list of THE most anticipated games of 2018, there's one title that would go (way, way, way) at the top of that selection: Rockstar Games' latest offspring, Red Dead Redemption 2.
A new trailer, unveiling a little more of the plot, has just been released and it's safe to say it's going to be a long wait until next spring when the game finally drops.
For the new installment, we'll be playing Arthur Morgan, member of the Van der Linde gang, i.e. the group led by Dutch, aka the sworn enemy of John Marston. According to Rockstar, the game will follow:
"the story of outlaw Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang as they rob, fight and steal their way across the vast and rugged heart of America in order to survive."
Which, teamed with the fact Marston looks much younger here than in the first chapter, means that the game is set to be a prequel. For the rest, we've got bank and train robberies, horseback pursuits and hunting parties. Basically, it's a day in the life of a Wild West brigand – and we can't wait.
No further information has been given about a release date at this stage, but hang on in there because it's guaranteed to be worth the wait.
