At the start of this fresh new year, all the music world can talk about is Justin Timberlake – and for good reason. Because not only is Justin planning on headlining this year's Super Bowl – set to take place on February 4 in Minneapolis – he's also getting ready to unveil a brand new album.
Taking to Facebook on January 2, the artist announced plans to release his first disc in five years. While the full album, entitled Man of the Woods, won't drop until February 2, we will be getting a sneak preview with the first single on January 5.
To accompany the news, the singer went all Kanye on us with a short clip solemnly explaining the reasons behind the new musical venture, which also seems to confirm that Pharrell Williams is behind the project's production. He says:
"This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've ever written, where I'm from – it's personal."
Far from the glitzy streets of Hollywood, we see Justin roaming through the wilderness alongside wife Jessica Biel and son Silas, prompting a hilarious backlash on Twitter. Check out some of the best reactions below.
