Following the first teaser for James Franco's The Disaster Artist comes a second trailer giving us a less-comical glimpse at the upcoming movie. Based on the making of the "Citizen Kane of bad movies" The Room, Franco's movie is set to explore the past of filmmaker Tommy Wiseau and his infamous "vision."
Starting with his meeting with Room producer Greg Sestero (Dave Franco), the flick is set to follow Wiseau's various struggles as he's continually rejected by Hollywood.
Unleashed to the world in 2003, the movie was met with an unexpectedly positive reaction from audiences, soon gathering a massive cult following for its so-bad-it's-good charm. Based on Greg Sestero's book and carried by a seriously impressive Franco as Tommy Wiseau, the film boasts an all-star cast.
Seth Rogen, Josh Hutcherson, Zac Efron, Alison Brie, Sharon Stone, Judd Apatow, Kate Hudson are all set to appear while J. J. Abrams, Kristen Bell, Zach Braff, Adam Scott and Bryan Cranston will be making cameos.
Directed by James Franco, who apparently stayed in character the whole time he was filming, the movie is even generating Oscar buzz.
Catch The Disaster Artist in cinemas from December 8, 2017.
