Anyone who's even looked in a real estate agent's window knows that the housing market is pretty insane. However, cinema lovers will be pleased to here that one property which was made famous by J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series has finally come on the market.
Yet the house used as 4 Privet Drive in the Harry Potter series, home to the dreadful Dursley family, is up for sale complete with a cupboard under the stairs.
While the location was only actually used for the first film, the whole street was recreated in the studio afterward and served as Harry's adoptive home.
For wizards and wizard fans it may have been known as 4 Privet Drive, Little Whinging, Surrey, the house is actually located at 12 Picket Post Close, Bracknell, about 60km from London, UK.
After undergoing a significant extension after last being bought in 2009, the house is on the market for £475,000 ($619,400).
Due to the cultural kudos of the Harry Potter brand, those wishing to get a look at the cupboard under the stairs will have to have an appointment to view the property with estate agents.
More recently in Harry Potter news, it's been hinted that Daniel Radcliffe could perhaps return to the role of Harry Potter if he were to star in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, although this has yet to be officially confirmed.
