2016 will definitely go into the history as the year that keeps on... taking.
After David Bowie, Alan Rickman, Prince, Leonard Cohen and many others, it is with sadness and regret that we have to announce the passing of the legendary British musician, George Michael.
At only 53 years old, Michael passed away on December 25, 2016, "peacefully at home" as his agent explained. No further details about his death have been revealed, but the police confirmed no suspicious circumstances occurred.
Most famously known for his band Wham! and their iconic tune "Last Christmas" (sad irony, we know), Michael entered a rich solo career back in 1986 selling over 100 million records and collaborating with the greatest talent worldwide.
Celebrities across the board have already flooded social media with George Michael tributes:
"I am in deep shock. I have lost a beloved friend - the kindest, most generous soul and a brilliant artist," – wrote Elton John.
