Ex-Amazon Studios Boss Rejected 'Big Little Lies' Because There Weren't Enough 'Tits'

Since the Harvey Weinstein affair, no end of stories accusing Hollywood big bosses of harassing women have come out of the woodwork. Roy Price, former head of Amazon Studios, was recently forced to quit his position following accusations of crude propositions by his colleagues.

Today, we've learnt a little more about the former top executive's character with the revelation that he rejected David E. Kelley's hit show Big Little Lies because there wasn't enough female nudity

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Price asked his staff at a Christmas party if the show's stars Reese Witherspoon and Nicole Kidman would "show their tits" in the series.

He then apparently went on to say that the drama wasn't worth green-lighting if they didn't – leaving the path clear for HBO to make a massive hit out of it.

In an account dating back to 2015, Price is accused of "repeatedly" propositioning Man in the High Castle producer Isa Hackett for sex, telling her that she would "love his dick." On another occasion, Hackett claims the Amazon boss loudly whispered "anal sex" in her ear.

In August 2015, Price is said to have interrogated the female cast of Good Girls Revolt about their sex lives during a table read – an experience the actors described as "embarrassing and uncomfortable."

As it goes, he was also in the process of creating the world's worst-sounding TV show based around abusing women.

As The Hollywood Reporter notes, the project, entitled Shanghai Snow, would have followed a woman named Cindy who was sold into the sex industry to a "psychotic Imperial Thai dwarf" called Mr. Goodtimes. The story was set to have Cindy drugged, beaten with a machete and warned she would be "fucked like a dead fish."

Since the departure of Roy Price from Amazon Studios, it fortunately looks like there is little chance of a pilot being made.
