Wildfires have been hitting Northern California for several days now, leaving behind them a trail of destruction and having killed seventeen people so far. The region is famous for its vineyards and many TV and cinema productions are also filmed there.
Netflix is currently filming season two of 13 Reasons Why there, more precisely in the Vallejo district. High winds still fan the wildfires there and the heavy smoke has rendered the whole area unsafe. Filming had, therefore, to be stopped.
The crew won't go back on set before a couple of days and many are tweeting their support to the people of California. Actor Dylan Minnette, who plays Clay Jensen, asked his followers to support the victims of this disaster:
We film 13 Reasons Why in many of the areas in NorCal affected by these devastating fires. Sending love and thoughts to everyone involved.— Dylan Minnette (@dylanminnette) October 10, 2017

Season 2 of 13 Reasons Why is scheduled for release on Netflix sometime in 2018.
