Since giving birth to her twins, Beyoncé has kept a relatively low profile. It's now been revealed, however, that the award-winning singer is officially signed on to voice Nala in Jon Favreau's live-action adaptation of The Lion King.
While live-action isn't really the right term, more CGI in a similar style to The Jungle Book, Favreau is keen to get top voices for the film. She'll be joining Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, who is playing Simba. To top that off James Earl Jones is also signed on to reprise his role as Mufasa.
We can already imagine Glover and Bey's version of "Can You Feel The Love Tonight" being a hit, both in the film and in the charts. The Lion King has yet to get a release date but will be in cinemas by summer 2019.
