Since Victor Moses stopped getting adequate playtime at Chelsea, football fans have all been speculating what his next move would be. Well, the speculations are now over because The Guardian reports that he has joined Istanbul-based club, Fenerbahçe on loan.
With the January transfer window open, Moses became the interest of Premier League clubs, Fulham, Cardiff City and Crystal Palace. There were even reports that Chinese clubs were interested in signing him permanently, but he only wanted a temporary deal.
When Fenerbahçe came all the way from Turkey to sign him on loan — with hopes he coupled help them avoid relegation — Moses asked for an assurance fee of £2.86 million. It appears he got that because, just yesterday, he was in Istanbul to undergo a medical.
The 28-year-old also recently edited his Instagram bio to include that he plays for Nigeria. So, with this move completed, we’re now left wondering if he has come out of international retirement — a decision that was initially made so he could focus on playing for Chelsea.
