From Pillow Seller To Top Model: The Familiar Story Of Bukola

We might just have found the unintentional sequel to the inspiring story of Olajumoke, the bread seller turned top model.

Well, in this particular story, the would-be model is Bukola, not Olajumoke; the photographer is the talented Kelechi Amadi-Obi, not TY Bello; the photoshoot was for hip-hip artist Jidenna, not Tinie Tempah – and instead of Agege bread, pillows were involved.

Just like the story of Olajumoke – that the world couldn't get enough of – the beautiful Bukola was simply in the right place at the right time. A few weeks back Amadi-Obi was shooting Nigeria-born hip-hop artist, Jidenna, on Broad Street, Lagos and in between takes he saw Bukola across the street selling pillows – and that was that.

An excited Amadi-Obi, said on his Instagram:

"I had to call her and give her my number. She came to the studio and I called my number one make-up artist, Bimpe Onakoya, and this is what we came up with."

While we might not have gotten a picture as iconic as the viral one of Olajumoke photobombing Tinie Tempah, we definitely got another beauty worth obsessing over.
