Etinosa Omoregie Is Feeding Port Harcourt, One Bole At A Time

If you're Nigerian, you're no doubt aware of the love we have for Bole. But in Port Harcourt, it's another level of obsession. Etinosa Omoregie knows this, so he turned it to a huge, thriving business.

Etinosa, along with Peter Banigo, launched Bole King, a bole and fish - and other variations - restaurant and delivery service, 2 years ago; and the service has quickly become the go-to place for residents of Port Harcourt to enjoy the delicacy.

According to him, he launched Bole King as a result of a desire to innovate and create another income source that would speed up his journey to financial freedom. So he found a product that people loved, that was unique and had plenty of room for improvement.

And now, he plans to globalize Port Harcourt's greatest export. Speaking with Konbini about how he got started, and his future plans, he says:

"It was exciting and scary, from having to find someone who would take me on a crash course on how to prepare the ORIGINAL Bole Sauce to finding the right members of staff to getting the right pricing for our product."

"I realized that Bole (Port Harcourt Style Bole with Roasted Fish and Palm Oil-Pepper Sauce) is something the world has to experience and that is when I told my partners that the Bole King vision is to globalize Port Harcourt’s greatest export, Bole and Fish!"

Etinosa Omoregie plans to expand Bole King to different cities so that people from all around the world can eat Port Harcourt-style Bole and Fish, whenever they’re in a city where Bole King operates. And with his team of seven, there is no doubt that he will succeed. The business currently has over 2,000 repeat customers. They operate out of their restaurant outlet, while delivering to every area of Port Harcourt.
