Coachella have unveiled the full line-up for their 2018 festival, with The Weeknd, Beyoncé, and Eminem confirmed as headliners. Last year, the internet went into a frenzy when Beyoncé cancelled her performance at Coachella 2017 but it was okay given the circumstances (and the possibility of a Destiny's Child reunion).
This year, performing on the same day as Beyoncé is none other than our star boy, Wizkid and we're super excited!
Coachella is an annual music and arts festival held in California, which showcases popular and established musical artists, as well as emerging artists and reunited groups. It is easily one of the most popular and most profitable music festivals in the world, and a great platform for Wizkid to perform at!
Wizkid definitely had a great 2017, as it saw him release his monster hit with Drake "Come Closer", his EP - Sounds From The Other Side, several collabs with prominent artists like Future, Young Jeezy, Wale. He rounded off the year with an amazing concert, and he's clearly bringing this winning streak into 2018!
This year's edition of Coachella holds on two weekends between April 13 - April 15, 2018 and April 20 - April 22, 2017. Wizkid will be performing on the same days as Beyoncé (April 14 and April 21), and we'll be there front row from social media!
