The 30-minute dramatic short film follows Emeka, who in the midst of his gubernatorial nomination in Lagos, begins to feel the pressure of faking a blissful marriage with his wife, Chioma.
While speaking with Konbini about what inspired him to create the film, Aguh said:
"My intention was to address the often overlooked area of using an ordinary African couple to communicate universal themes: the struggles of love and relationships, dependancy and darkness.
These themes are real, urgent, immediate, and deserving of attention on screen."
The short film which is clearly inspired by French arthouse cinema, officially makes Uche Aguh an exciting talent to watch and it also features a particularly transcendent performance from his co-star, Chinwe A. Nwokolo – someone cast her in a movie immediately.
