A few weeks back, Humblesmith finally released his long-overdue debut album, Osinachi — named after the afropop singer's biggest single to date. Now, he's dropped a video for one of the star-studded project's strongest tracks: "Attracta" featuring Tiwa Savage.
Produced by Mixtadimz, the highlife-tinged "Attracta" is actually a year-old track that Humblesmith smartly gives a face-lift by including Tiwa Savage — a move that unsurprisingly makes this version infinitely better than the original.
On the catchy track, Humblesmith plays a man who can't seem to wrap his head around why his partner loves him so much — he can't tell if it's for his money or his sense of humour. Tiwa follows him on her standout verse, confirming that she loves him because of all those things and more.
As for the vibrant Clarence Peters-directed music video, while it's stacked from start to finish with a lot of stunning shots of Tiwa Savage and Humblesmith looking great together, it doesn't have any real narrative structure holding it all together.
