The First 'Black Panther' Clip Will Get You Even More Hyped For The Movie

Thanks to its impressive cast, its brilliant trailers and a Kendrick Lamar-helmed soundtrack, the hype surrounding Marvel's Black Panther has been understandably off the charts. No surprise that it sold more advance tickets in one day than any Marvel movie before it.

Well, Marvel just dropped the first clip for the movie, and the incredible one-minute teaser has us even more hyped for its release — which is now less than a month away.

The exciting clip titled "Kinetic Energy" follows T'Challa/Black Panther (played by Chadwick Boseman) and his sister, Shuri (played by Black Mirror's Letitia Wright) as they team up to chase down a couple of gun-toting bad guys.

Showing off Wakanda's advanced technology, the clip features Black Panther gliding through traffic on the roof of a stolen Lexus being remotely driven by Shuri. His suit absorbs the kinetic energy from the enemy's gunfire and converts that into a blast that he uses to wipe out their car.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, Black Panther follows the events of Captain America: Civil War. T’Challa returns home to Wakanda, but when two enemies conspire to bring down the kingdom, he must team up with CIA agent Everett K. Ross and members of the Dora Milaje to prevent a world war.

Black Panther will hit cinemas on February 16.
