On Valentine's Day, Praiz dropped the impressive 2 mins — an EP he described as "[five] r&b songs that will change your life". Now, he is back with a heartwarming video for "Here And Now", which is easily the strongest track off the entire project.
Produced by Praiz himself, "Here And Now" is a beautiful ballad about finding true love. Not only does it stand out for being the most vocally impressive track on the EP, it also benefits from being the project's happiest song (the rest are about regret and toxic relationships).
On the track, which was definitely written with the intention of being a wedding song, Praiz sings: "Never thought that I'd be here/Sharing my vows with my best friend". The song is adorably mushy, and we can already see a lot of couples having their first dances to it.
For the music video, which was directed by the brilliant Aje Filmworks, Praiz takes the minimalistic approach. Kind of like Simi's video for "Complete Me" (which was also directed by Aje Filmworks), we follow Praiz and his love interest as they lie in bed, stare into each other's eyes and run across fields.
