Davido has had a great musical year, and the calibre of music he's released throughout 2018 — from "Flora My Flawa" to "Nwa Baby" — is proof of this. Now, he's decided to close out the year with "Wonder Woman", a song which is aimed at celebrating women.
Earlier this year, Drake released the fantastic "Nice For What", a female empowerment tune with a stunning, female-focused video to match. With "Wonder Woman", we find Davido trying his hand at this, and it goes exactly the way you'd imagine.
On the track, Davido sings about a woman, focusing on the fact that she is blessed with natural beauty and a great figure. In keeping with his usual energy, he also brags about how much he can "wire wire" to her, so she can do things to feel special.
For the video, which feels like "Nice For What" lite, he features a bunch of impressive women, from Grammy nominee, Kah-Lo to Kai Collective creator, Fisayo Longe. Thankfully, the video doesn't match the song's tone, as it celebrates these women for their achievements, not their looks.
