A few weeks ago, Tiwa Savage was crowned the 'Best African Act' at the MTV Europe Music Awards. Shortly after this well-deserved win, the afropop superstar released her thankful single, "One", which has now been accompanied by a very fitting video.
Produced by the gifted Killertunes, "One" is a slow-paced bop that sees Tiwa flaunting her stunning voice. In the Clarence Peters-directed video, she brings it back home after all the international acclaim she's received, visiting the remote community of Osoroko, Lagos.
The warm-hearted and emotive clip follows Tiwa as she drives through the village, swarms of fans chase after her car, but, ever humble, she doesn’t pretend to be above anyone, kneeling down for the elders in the community and joining them through the market.
