2018 has been the year of Peruzzi's mainstream rise, as he's announced himself as the next big afropop star. Not only is he a talented artist, but he also writes a lot of the bops we know and love, with our favourite in his catalogue being 2Baba's monster hit, "Amaka".
After working on some of the best jams we've gotten this year — standing out on all the DMW singles — Peruzzi has finally announced his debut project, Heartwork, and we are very excited, as he has the ability to make music that both evokes emotions and makes us want to dance.
From the EP's artwork, we can tell that this is still his intention, as it includes a glass of brown liquor, a freshly rolled blunt, pills and a phone with missed calls from Amaka, Onome and Ola — girls who have all been subjects of previously released songs.
While we have no information about when the project will actually be released or who will be featured on it — although, if we had to guess, we'd say Davido, Dremo and Mayorkun are sure bets — we are pretty sure that it will be straight fire.
