Zlatan definitely made an impression last year, and the breakout star shows no signs of slowing down. After shining as a guest on a bunch of solid 2018 bangers, we're finally getting a taste of his musical range, as a surprising new track, "Glory" has surfaced online.
On "Glory", a track which sounds nothing like his zanku-focused bops, Zlatan feels like a completely different artist. The song's production is surprisingly mellow, and it finds Zlatan skilfully switching between singing and rapping.
On the track, he's grateful for how far he's come, singing that he gives God all the glory. Given the upward trajectory of his career — he has already collaborated with superstars like Davido and Burna Boy — it's not hard to see why he feels this way.
We're very impressed by this switch up, and even though he said on his Instagram story that he wasn't ready to show the world this side to him, we can confirm that it's extremely welcome. We honestly can't wait to hear more of the same from him.
