It's a well-known fact that Nigerian and Ghanaian acts always make magic when they step into the studio together. The latest track to reinforce that is BOJ's "Awolowo", which features Ghanaian artists, Joey B, Kwesi Arthur and Darko Vibes.
Well, it's been about two weeks since "Awolowo" dropped, and we finally have an accompanying video for the solid track.
Right from his breakout, it's been clear that BOJ's greatest strength is his ability to kill every single hook, and he's become even better over the years. The last time we heard from him, he teamed up with Teni for the fantastic "Obe", and now he's taken his talents to Ghana.
Wonderfully Produced by GMK, the catchy beat leaves enough room for each artist to shine, with the undisputed standout being BOJ. On the track, the artists are inspired by money and the need to grind, singing that they must be rich and famous by any means necessary.
For the accompanying video, which was directed by David Duncan, BOJ, Joey B, Kwesi Arthur and Darko Vibes party in a moody and dingy club, while performing the song. "Awolowo" is the first single off BOJ's upcoming project, Alte Bank Of Africa, and he's certainly got us hyped.
