Here Are 10 Nigerians Songs Inspired By Ghanaian Vibes – According To Mr Eazi

A week ago, rave of the moment, Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade (better known as Mr. Eazi), incurred the unforgiving wrath of Nigerian Twitter after he dared to mention that the present day 'Nigerian sound' is influenced by Ghanaian music.

The "Hollup" singer, who recently moved to Nigeria having lived in Ghana since 2007, eventually apologised after fans and Industry pundits called his remarks insensitive due to the (weirdly) competitive atmosphere that exists between Ghana and Nigeria – with just about everything, from jollof rice to music.

During a quick chat with MTV Base Africa – barely a week after his apology – Mr Eazi went on to list 10 Nigerian tracks he thinks have been influenced by "Ghanaian drum patterns", and here they are:

1. Tekno – "Pana"

2. Falz – "Soft Work"

3. Patoranking – "My Woman, My Everything" ft Wande Coal

4. Patoranking – "No Kissing" ft Sarkodie

5. Koker – "Kolewerk"

6. Reekado Banks – "Oluwa Ni"

7. Reekado Banks – "Problem"

8. Dice Ailes – "Miracle" ft Lil Kesh

9. Mr Eazi – "Sample You" ft Lil Kesh

10. Runtown – "Mad Over You"
