From Davido To Burna Boy, DJ Neptune Enlists All Your Faves For Debut LP, 'Greatness'

Although DJ Neptune might not have a song as popular as DJ Spinall’s "Nowo", DJ Cuppy's "Green Light" or DJ Enimoney’s "Diet" under his belt, he still has some of the best releases out of all the Nigerian DJ's who've recently segued into the hitmaking business.

Now, he has finally come through with his first studio album, the aptly-titled Greatness, and it's filled with features from some of the biggest Nigerian artists working today, including Davido, Burna Boy, Kizz Daniel, M.I, Maleek Berry, Yemi Alade and many others.

Like DJ Neptune showed on all the singles he released in the past year – from "Why" featuring Runtown to "Mia Mia" featuring Mr Eazi – he knows exactly how to bring out the best in the artists he works with, and that gift is particularly clear on Greatness.

With so many different stars sharing the stage, the 13-track project expectedly switches genres and themes at an almost breakneck pace, but every single track has one thing in common: they are skillfully designed to get you dancing.

As for the standouts on the album, that totally depends on what you typically gravitate to. If you’re a fan of Mayorkun’s afropop sensibilities, you’ll love "Tear Rubber"; if Niniola’s afro-house magic is more your speed, "Rolling" is a stunner; and if you’re a dancehall stan, Patoranking and Efya slay "In A Way".

So, what are you waiting for? Listen to the outstanding Greatness below:
