Over the weekend, Davido sold out his concert at the notorious O2 Arena. Elated by this achievement, he took to Twitter to celebrate the win and shame the naysayers for ever doubting him — the same energy he replicated on Victor AD's latest single, "Tire You".
IM SCREAMING!! It’s going to be a long day for haters tomorrow Thanks to all that made this possible . “ The boy called DAVID SOLD OUT THE o2 ! @theo2london “ . See everyone tomorrow DEM DEAD AAWWFFFFF pic.twitter.com/DHsGnflb02— Davido (@iam_Davido) January 26, 2019
On "Tire You", both Davido and AD are grateful for all their successes, telling us how they strive toward greatness. Rather inappropriately, Victor AD's chorus questions those who are down, and seemingly unbothered, as he asks them "suffer no dey tire you?"
As he did when he received the news of his sold-out show, Davido uses his time on the track to call out the haters who accuse him of doing juju or suggest that he won't blow. Once again, he brings out his best, working Kulboy's beat as if it were produced specially for him.
From the hyperactive beat to the strong lyrics, "Tire You" is another brilliant effort from Victor AD, further proving that the "Wetin We Gain" singer is one of the most promising newcomers working in Nigerian music today.
