As one of the first projects we got in 2018, Burna Boy's masterful mixtape, Outside set the bar unbelievably high. Save for a few, we were not disappointed by the projects that followed, and it's entirely fair to say that Nigerian musicians really delivered this year.
Although quite a few projects were teased but never released — from Wizkid's Made In Lagos to Davido's sophomore LP — we're quite content with what we did get, including Kizz Daniel aptly titled album, No Bad Songz; and Mayorkun's awe-inspiring debut, Mayor Of Lagos.
While for the less mainstream stars, Odunsi showed out with his game-changing debut album, rare; DAP The Contract's raised the bar with his meticulous visual album, Everybody Falls In The Summer; and Blaq Bones soared with his engaging hip-hop release, Bad Boy Blaq.
So, to close out the year, we're leaving it to you to help us decide which 2018 album has been the best.
